Homemade rye bread recipe – Make your own delicious and healthy bread at home following this easy recipe. Works great for yummy lunch sandwiches or a quick afternoon snack!
160 grams of Rye flour
100 grams of White flour
250ml Kefir
2 tablespoons of Olive oil
1 teaspoon of Sugar
1/2 teaspoon of Salt
1 teaspoon of Baking soda
Take a kefir at room temperature. Pour the kefir into a bowl and add the olive oil and mix well.
Add salt and sugar to the liquid ingredients and stir. (The amount of salt and sugar you can increase or decrease to your taste).
Sift the rye flour to the liquid ingredients and start kneading the dough.
White flour mix with soda so sift to the dough.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes. If the dough is highly sticky add more white flour, but don’t add too much otherwise the dough will be tight. If the dough still sticks, brush your hands with olive oil and continue to knead.
Form a ball of dough and place on a baking sheet (lay parchment and lightly sprinkle it with flour).Bake the bread in the oven preheated to 390F/200C for 45 minutes.
